Among the Chinese corn processing products, mineral primary products are the largest part however its added value is low. Products of high added value still cannot meet the market demands.
Another key problem in Chinese corn processing industry is the main processing products, especially the surplus of powder and ethanol products and low operation rate. Because of the large number of small enterprises and fierce competition, the industry needs further integration. China witnessed a fast growth of further processing of corn in 2006.
